What is the golf swing all about?  

 

The golf swing starts with good posture and set up.  As you start the swing motion you are challenging your body to be stable, mobile and balanced all at the same time.

 

“The body works in an alternating pattern of stable segments connected by mobile joints. If this pattern is altered—dysfunction and compensation will occur.”

 

I screen test each student to find out what muscle groups are the inhibitors and causing the dysfunction.  This is what separates me from the traditional personal trainer.  When these areas are determined I will develop a personal prescription of exercises and coach you with proper form and movement that will enable you physically to perform an efficient golf swing.  The exercises will restore proper function and mechanics within your muscle groups providing you with a full range of motion and allow the kinematic sequence of energy transfer during the swing motion.  This will assist your teaching pro to work with a body that can move freely in a full range of motion.
